I'm sorry it took me so long to send those pictures — university has started again and we had quite a few visitors.

The pictures aren't very good, but I'll keep trying. You can only see the manatee's outline . . . and the lettuce..

The animal is now gaining a bit of weight and his neck is again round and fat but the tail fin is still skinny — and the waterlevel is still un-normally low; thelakes are still without water.

I'll send you a longer mail when I have time next week to tell you about the visit of the "Girls on Top" from Australia.
