Gudrun
writes every few weeks regarding the animals and their progress. The
notes are passed along to you through the site so you can share in
the growth of their amazing animal sanctuary.

July 2008: LOTS of new photos of the new rescues.
January to June 2008: So much news to catch up with . . . our Web Designer has been on leave for a few months, but is now back and updating the site with lots of new photos of the wonderful animals. . .

The monkeys are being mischevious; they've learned how to get into
the butterfly cage. . .

A cute baby Saddleback Tamarind has joined the Orphanage and has found
"step-parents."

A huge creature has emerged from the giant caterpillar! And we have
more new photos of the animals, and more card
ideas that can be sent throughout the year to help the orphanage.

Gudrun and Roblar are waiting to see what the giant caterpillar turns
into! And they sent a new picture of Pedro Bello.

15, 2005: English volunteers Alan and
Janine build a "Kinkajou Free" zone and the Manatee is gaining
weight -- eating lettuce! And eMail
to Jade in Australia.

2005: Girls on Top from Australia establish
a gift shop.

2005: More on the Manatee.

2005: A welcome donation and help with
the Manatee.
August
2005: The manatee is growing, an American
rescues a two-toed sloth and brings the baby to the Animal Orphanage,
and meet Laura, an English volunteer.
July 2005:
The refrigerator is in use and is
saving money. And there's yet another orphan on the farm -- a baby
manatee.
June 2005:
Donations have reached the Amazon
Animal Orphanage and Gudrun bought a refrigerator to store food for
the animals. More babies arrive.
May 2005:
To
date, more than $800 has been donated to help care for these beautiful
animals. A donor list has been started to acknowledge the kindness
of these individuals. And another new little visitor arrives.
April 2005: Gudrun comes across a "fer de lance,"
one of the most dangerous snakes in the world, and she stops to take
pictures!
March 2005:
The baby anteater rides around on its adopted "mommy." (These
photos are hysterical . . . )
February 14, 2005:
Great news for Valentine's Day — we now have a way you
can donate to help these beautiful, exotic, endangered animals.
February 2005:
The Maromet finds a family, new pictures of the Kinkajou. And Angelica,
the three-toed sloth, is brought "home."
