One of the duties for our volunteers at Pilpintuwasi is collecting butterfly eggs, which is also a great opportunity and time to study the 23 seasonal butterfly species. We search for and collect the eggs to increase their survival rate before a species of parasitic wasps can get to them. Here Jasmin got a shot of the Tiger butterfly and Heliconia species are feeding above a little neighbour!
